Our History
Griggs was founded in 1909 by Frederick Griggs, a visionary educator dedicated to making education accessible to all. It began as the Fireside Correspondence School, offering opportunities to students outside the traditional system. Throughout the 20th century, it evolved into Griggs International Academy, providing flexible, accredited K–12 programmes. Today, it serves students worldwide, staying true to Frederick’s mission: delivering excellent education that prepares young people for a global future, fostering curiosity, critical thinking, and personal growth.
