Registration

What are the registration deadlines for each programme?

To ensure the best experience for our students, registrations are accepted up to 60 days before the start of the course. If this timeframe is not available, we recommend enrolling in the following cohort.

What documentation is required to complete the registration?

A passport valid for at least six months prior to the travel date, a completed registration form, and a national identity document. If any additional documentation is required depending on the country’s regulations, we will request it in advance.

Is the registration process entirely online, or are there in-person steps?

The enrolment process is entirely online, and depending on the programme, online calls may be required to clarify any questions or to present the programme schedule. Our communication channels include WhatsApp, email, and Instagram.

Payments

What is the total cost of each programme, and what is included?

Each programme has a specific cost and differences in its package. To find out more details about each programme, please get in touch with us.

What is the cancellation and refund policy?

The enrolment fee is non-refundable. Cancellations, refunds, or rescheduling can be made up to 60 days before the start of the course. For detailed information, please consult our customer service team.

How does the payment work?

Once your enrolment is confirmed, we will send you the available plans and payment instructions via credit card or bank transfer. Payment is made through a secure online link, ensuring speed and safety. There is no need to arrange currency exchange for payments made abroad. Everything is done online, and the student is fully informed about when, how, and how much they will pay for the course.

General Questions: English Immersion Programmes

Is the duration (2–3 weeks) sufficient to ensure academic progress?

Yes. This is an intensive programme (15 hours of classes per week) with immersion alongside international students on campus. It strengthens speaking, listening, and confidence in a short period of time. It does not promise native-level fluency, but it delivers clear and considerable measurable progress.

What certification documents do students receive at the end? Is it academically recognised?

At the end of the programme, students receive an Official Certificate of Completion issued by Griggs. This certificate is internationally recognised.

Is there a minimum English level required? Are there placement tests?

There is no minimum English level required. A language placement test is taken upon arrival, and classes are formed according to the level students demonstrate. Progress depends on your starting point and your daily commitment.

Will there be free time to explore London? What types of activities are planned?

Yes. All programmes combine academic learning with cultural exploration. Students take guided tours of London’s iconic landmarks, such as Big Ben, the London Eye, Tower Bridge, and the British Museum. They also take part in planned activities that allow them to experience the city’s culture in a safe and supervised way.

Computers Programme

Is this course suitable for beginners, or is prior knowledge required?

Yes, the course is suitable for beginners. No prior knowledge is required, as students are introduced step by step to key concepts and tools. Those with existing digital skills will also find opportunities to expand and deepen their knowledge through more advanced activities.

What practical digital skills will students gain by the end?

Students gain practical skills in programming, understanding the evolution of computing, IoT concepts, digital entertainment, and digital literacy, including cybersecurity, privacy, and responsible online behaviour.

Artificial Intelligence Programme

Do I need prior programming experience to attend this course?

No prior experience is required. The course is designed for curious learners, starting with the basics of AI and coding, gradually building confidence through hands-on projects and guided exercises.

What practical AI skills will students take away at the end?

Students will gain an understanding of the fundamentals of machine learning, explore AI applications and their impact on society and various industries, and learn to develop simple AI models. They will also acquire hands-on experience in solving real-world problems using AI tools, making their learning immediately practical.

How does this course stand out compared to other short-term AI programmes?

Unlike many online or theoretical courses, this programme combines immersive projects, direct contact with AI research centres, and expert guidance in small groups, giving students a tangible experience of cutting-edge AI work.

Will the course be very theoretical, or will we use tools and conduct practical experiments?

It’s a mix of theory and hands-on practice. Students learn concepts in the morning and immediately apply them in workshops and projects, experimenting with real AI tools under expert supervision.

Accommodation & Logistics

What are the rooms like (single/double)? Can I pay extra for a single room?

Rooms are shared, providing a friendly and social environment. If you prefer more privacy, single rooms are available for an additional fee (details provided upon request).

Are meals supervised and adapted for allergies/dietary requirements?

Three nutritious meals are provided each day (except on excursion days where only breakfast is provided), and all dietary needs or allergies are carefully accommodated.

How do airport–campus transfers work (schedules, cost, supervision)?

For the adult programme, arrival on Sunday is recommended. After purchasing your flight ticket, please send your flight details by email. Upon landing, connect your mobile phone to the airport’s free Wi-Fi to enable communication with our team. In case of a delay or flight cancellation, contact the support number provided immediately. The transfer will be rescheduled as needed, and all updates will be communicated via message.
The airport ⇄ campus transfer is included both on arrival and departure to/from London Heathrow Airport. For the other programmes, such as High School and exchange programmes for teenagers, the transfer is also included, in addition to a chaperone travelling with the programme group.

Is there 24/7 monitoring and security on campus?

The campus has 24-hour security and staff support.

Can I communicate with my child during the programme?

Yes, parents can stay in touch via phone or messaging, though students may be in class or activities during parts of the day, limiting immediate responses.

What clothing should be packed? Is there a packing list? Is laundry available?

Students should bring comfortable clothing suitable for both indoor lessons and outdoor excursions, including layers and waterproof items to adapt to the often rainy UK weather. A detailed packing list will be shared before the programme. Laundry facilities are available on campus.

Safety & Support

Is travel insurance mandatory?

Yes. To enter England, international travel insurance is required. Insurance issued by credit cards, travel agencies, or specialised companies is accepted. Our team provides guidance on choosing the appropriate insurance, but we do not issue it, as we are not a travel agency but an international educational institution.

How does Griggs support students with special needs or chronic medical conditions?

A health form is completed during the programme enrolment process, and the support team will be available in case of any medical emergency. Please note that medical insurance and any hospital expenses, if required, are not included in the programme.

Who is the emergency contact during the programme?

At the time of signing the contract, it is necessary to provide an emergency contact.

Who can students turn to in case of homesickness or adaptation difficulties?

Students can turn to any of our supervisors or trained monitors, who are experienced in supporting children with various adjustment needs. They provide guidance, safety, and a secure space for any emotional or social concerns.
